Palo Santo Maron

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery
Milton, DE (USA)
12.0 ABV

C. Irrelevant cause it’s black

H. Straight up black, son

N. Sweet, hints of cinnamon

Dos: Now that’s what I’m talkin about! Not as strong as a stout, and definitely not light at all. Apparently a brown ale, although it looks pretty dang black too me. I like the fact that it has a cinnamon taste to it as well as a coffee taste as well. Gee, it seems like we have been doing a ton of coffee tasting beers lately…..maybe cause it is winter time. I don’t really have any funny things to say about this beer. I know, odd. But it is a Dogfish, and you all know that I sure as holy Jesus love my Dogfish beers. Ya know, I wish I could combine like the Dogfish 120 Minute with the Stone Ruination, lol. Now that would be one insane concoction in my book. Score = 4.154

Fermentation: Well after the pour I didn’t think this was going to be very good, but after the smell I had hope. Smell was different, sorta spicey but sweet notes. The initial taste was like a deep dark brown ale, but it finishes with a peppery bite that comes out of nowhere. Man this is awesome, I love the bite at the end of this. Good beer. Score = 3.89

Overall = 4.022
