Raging Bitch Belgian-Style India Pale Ale
Flying Dog Brewery
Frederick, MD (USA)
8.3 ABV
C. Perfectly clear
H. Amber, sort of burnt orange
N. Whoaaaa hops!
Dos: Geez, they weren't kidding when they made this one. Very hoppy, and a super nice bitterness to it also. The IBU is 60, but I feel that seems a little low for it. Nowhere near something like The Ruination, but it definitely has a kick to it. When I found out that this beer was made with the El Diablo yeast, I laughed even harder. Believe it or not, this beer does NOT describe any of my former women! Why you may ask? Well, they were all raging bitches at some point in time, as this delicious brew was, but this IPA stayed good the whole time, where, well, the women were just plain mean and ended on a sour note. Score = 4.17
Fermentation: Wow, this beer is properly named…..she really is a bitch. Great banana notes from the yeast, strong hops and a little kick of sweetness not sure if its from the yeast or malt. This is a fun beer, but be careful and watch your tone, cause you just might get slapped in the mouth from this Raging Bitch. Score = 4.191
Overall = 4.1805
