Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival 2012

Are you still alive after that crazy week of South Florida Beer?!?

Well you better perk up friends, because the JCBF is here Saturday, January 28th.

Join us Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 1 to 5:30 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium (4751 Main St., Jupiter, 33458) for the Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival! There's no better way to experience the ever-growing world of craft brewing. Guests will sample and savor brews from some of South Florida's as well as the nation's finest breweries. For $35, guests will enjoy unlimited samples of the brews. All this while listening to some of the best local entertainment around!

Online ticket sales are now sold out, but there will be 1,500 tickets available to purchase the day of for $35, cash only.

Cigar City will be pouring; Ligero (if left over from Field of Beers), Hotter than Helles, Auld Alliance, Jai Alai, and Maduro!

But wait! Approximately 3 gallons of the following beers made it down;

White Oak Peach IPA (2:30pm)

Church on a Hill (Swamp Head Collaboration) (3:30pm)

Smash Kohatu (Pilot Batch) (4:30)

The beers above will be tapped at the times designated. Please keep in mind that there are only 3 gallons of each, so they will kick quick!

Laser Wolf is taken over by Florida Craft Beer

The crew over at Laser Wolf, Ft. Laurderdale, is being taken over by some of the finest craft beer in the state of Florida on Thursday, January 26th.

January 26 at Laser Wolf (901 Progresso Dr., #101, Fort Lauderdale, 33304) - Come party as we do another local tap takeover with your favorite locals brews. Cigar City will feature some special kegs and plenty of other local goodies.

If you missed the Humidor Tocobaga at The Funky Buddha on Tuesday, here is your chance to get on it! Laser Wolf will have some crazy beers on all 9 draft lines. This one is not to be missed!

Tap 42 rolls out All Florida Beers

Ft. Lauderdale's newest beer bars rolls out a slew of Florida Craft Beer Draft Handles for a Florida Tap Takeover.

January 25 at Tap 42 (1411 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, 33316) - We will be hosting another local tap takeover with beers from around the state that will continue through the weekend.

This event will run through the weekend, so if you miss it, make sure to get over before all the kegs blow!

Cigars and Cerveza's @ Cervezas

South Miami is getting some Florida Beer Love tonight at Cervezas Beer Bar.

January 25 at Cervezas South Miami (5835 Sunset Dr., Miami, 33143) - Stop by for a cigar pairing with Cigar City beers to celebrate South Florida Beer Week. The event starts at 8pm and will be limited to the first 25 people. The cost of $25 will include all of your beer and cigars for the evening. For more information check out their facebook page.

January 25 at Total Wine and More (15980 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, 33027) - Join Cigar City Brewing Company for an exclusive in store tasting in honor of South Florida Beer Week. This tasting will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Funky Buddha South Florida's Pride

When you think of South Florida Craft Beer, The Funky Buddha should be on the first thought that comes to mind.

Well the crew at the Buddha are at it again, dedicating all 18 draft lines to Florida Beer! And yes, there will be some special beers on draft from them.

January 24 at The Funky Buddha (2621 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, 33431) - Join us as we commandeer the taps with all of our favorite Florida beers, featuring Cigar City, Tequesta, and special releases by the Buddha themselves.

Draft line up will include Last Snow, No Crusts, and more from the mad scientist at the Buddha. That is not all though, there will be a keg of Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and Humidor Tocobaga from Cigar City, as well as others. Also there is a rumor that a Swamp Head Beer will be on tap as well!
