The Ferm: Well it has been a while. Cherry Chocolate Stout was a beer that I cracked open and said to myself that I need to review this beer for everyone to see.

I am not gonna lie, I was really excited to get this 12oz bottle in my hands the other day. The Green Tea collaboration sold out quickly, so this time around I snagged two bottles instead of one, just in case I liked it a lot.

While I would have liked a bit more chocolate from the beer, the flavors all blended well together. There was little to no medicinal flavors to the cherry hints, which were light until the beer warmed up.

While I felt the beer lived up to its name, there seemed to be a bit of lingering smoke on the back end of the palate.

Worth a try?! Yes, but keep in mind that this is not a sweet chocolate beer. It is more of a bitter/dark chocolate beer.

  1. good to see you back in the saddle again. You must be rusty though, what's the final score on this beer?
