La Cocinera; Well, I'm a big fan of saisons. I just love spice and funkiness and tartness. Yum. But sometimes it's hard to know what to expect out of them because there is a lot of variability in the style. I think this is a great example of a saison and a good choice for someone to try who isn't sure if they like them or not. It's tart and fruity with some spicy yeast. It's definitely complex enough to keep you interested in going in for another sip. And you would never imagine that it's an 8% abv. Very drinkable and tasty.

The Cerveza Chica: I had no idea what to expect from this beer because I have never heard from it and I am not that familiar with the saison category. I was really surprised and impressed by this one. It was sweet enough and not overly sour or tart or funky. I really enjoyed drinking this one and at 8% ABV it was just perfect. It is hard to categorize what I really got from this beer but I definitely got fruitiness. I would recommend this to someone that likes beers that are a bit off the norm and easy enough to drink. I would like to try other saisons now.
