N. Faint hint of watermelon but not much, touch of sweetness as well, smells like a wheat beer

Cerveza Chica; When El Nadador brought this beer down for us I was really excited and couldn’t wait to try it. We have so many beers to try though that it has had to wait until now. It was definitely a very nice change from all the damn stouts we have been reviewing lately. I think I have found my new beer obsession other than Lost Coast’s Great White. This beer definitely makes me happy. It tastes like a watermelon blow pop, but not too artificial tasting. The smell was pleasant. You could definitely get the watermelon from it, but I also smell malt and yeast since it’s a wheat beer. It is a very easy drinking beer. I am depressed that it isn’t readily available here because I would absolutely love to drink this all summer. If you love fruit beers and fruity wheat beers try to get your hands on some as you will not be disappointed.

The Ferm; So another beer that made the trip down south with el Nadador. This was a bit of a surprise. It poured just like a standard wheat beer, and while I expected to smell watermelon from the crack of the can, it had a very low odor. In fact the nose was almost a bit too weak. The taste of this beer reminds me of a watermelon airhead, but not as artificial on the watermelon side. There is a nice almost sour attack to the beer then it mellows out perfectly leaving a nice hint of watermelon on the palette. Very light and easy to drink. This is the perfect summer beer! Really a pleasant surprise of a beer.
