Cerveza Chica; This beer was surprisingly good to me. It was very light and easy to drink. It reminded me of a good summer beer. I thought it was much like Shock Top, although instead of orange citrus notes it was lemony instead. I liked that it wasn’t very heavy so you could definitely put back a few of these no problem. I am usually not a big fan of what Sam Adams puts out, but this one was more up my alley.

Ferm; Well I think Sam Adam’s missed the boat on this one, cause it would be great on a boat. They missed the release of this beer by one season IMO. This would be a fantastic beer for the summer, but why they decided to release it at the end of winter/beginning of Spring is besides me. Well at least we can have it for summer! It is a very light beer, with sweet notes and slight sour notes from the lemon. If lemonade and beer had a “love-child” it would be this beer. I recommend it for any guy that might be trying to get his “lady-friend” into craft beers. Very easy to drink and quite enjoyable!

uhhh this is a nasty beer...too much lemon in for me to enjoy, I believe this is sam's attempt at having sam summer year round, and it did miss the boat...who wants lemon flavored beer...
ReplyDeleteIve had it and I have to disagree with marzonie, this was different and pretty good. Anyone can do orange but lemon that was a risk worth taking.
ReplyDeleteto each thier own...wasnt my cup of tea...err lemons..ah i mean beer...
ReplyDeleteLol, calm down guys! lol
ReplyDeleteIn beer we trust....it was different, and quite refreshing but i like things a bit more sour/bitter than sweet!
